Oak Valley Center meets the certification standards required by the Virginia Department of Education and is accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Specialized Educational Facilities. The staff includes special education teachers, teacher assistants, behavior management specialists, and licensed therapists.  Staff members meet, or are actively pursuing, certification by the Virginia Department of Education or the appropriate licensing board.
